‘Dedicated to preserving local breeds, and competing them to their highest potential.’ NDSF and it's associates were formed out of the dreams of four friends (and one boyfriend) who were all on track to give up their passions in exchange for successful careers in mainstream professions. They went to the same uni, studying different subjects but bonding over their shared love of equestrianism. The love for local heritage breeds came from Jake, Kate’s boyfriend, who was so passionate about it that it leaked over to her, who then spread that passion to her friend group. Over time the group’s desire to make their dreams in reality grew and grew until they know they could no longer be satisfied with just another cushy office job. Thankfully, Kate’s parents had money to spare and big enough hearts to fit anyone who brought a smile to their darling daughter’s face, so getting the loans to buy each property wasn’t as daunting a task as you’d think.
